Save the Date: April 15, 2023

Our spring gala is both a fundraiser and an opportunity to celebrate the enormous personal, academic, and professional efforts and accomplishments of scholars, parents, and the CSS community. At the Gala, we recognize Black and Latino males in the external community who have an exemplary history of distinction through service in their professional fields.

The College Success Scholars (CSS) program at the University of Maryland will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of personal, academic and professional excellence, high rates of retention and graduation, and a distinguished alumni community currently engaged in top-tier graduate school and career opportunities. Our Scholars continue to soar and build impressive resume portfolios through their research, internships, service learning and education abroad engagements. Over the past 15 years, the CSS parents have served a crucial and important role in the program through financial and in-kind donations, thousands of volunteer hours, serving on committees, hosting the Gala and other program activities as well as providing professional development opportunities for our Scholars.
